About the performance

An emotive, shady experience based on a true story of the artist having to live in a car after being forced to flee her home at the height of the Iranian revolution of 1979, aged just nine, and the events leading up to her family being exiled to the UK. An audio-visual installation in a car exploring duality, displacement and home.

Protesters have been refused permission to appeal against their eviction from the Occupy London camp outside St Paul’s Cathedral.
Occupy London challenged the High Court’s decision that the City of London Corporation’s move to evict its camp was “lawful and justified”.
Occupy London, which campaigns against corporate greed, set up the camp on 15 October. There are currently about 120 tents at the site.
Protesters say they plan to remove two large tents which housed the “kitchen” and “Tent City University”as they were donated to the group and they did not want them destroyed during the eviction.

Book launch of the We Can Be Heroes book about London Clubland 1976 – 1984. An interesting night in the basement of the Sun & 13 Cantons on Beak Street. Great little venue and the usual fascinating crowd turned up – Rusty Egan, Philip Salon, Mark Powell etc.
